Oxycodone is the BEST pain medication for CHRONIC SEVERE LOWER LUMBAR BACK PAIN! It works a bit less by the 4th year or so, but, at least takes the "edge" off more than any other pain medication. The problem is....many, many doctors will not take you on as a patient for "chronic severe pain" with anything...if you need any narcotic in order to function! They ALL seem to be "FRAIDY CATS" because...

Everyone Who is reading this and taking this drug, get ready for the your life is about to become. If you stay on it longer than 6 weeks you are now in the oxy-head club! Once you reach tolerance level, and taking over what the Dr. prescribes its over, you loose libido, the interest in going out , ya i've heard the whole Quantity over Quality life bit spoken like a true hooked, yes addicted per...

Was recently given Rhodes brand Oxycodone from Walgreens instead of usual Mallinckrodt mfg because thats all they could get. The Rhodes brand does absolutely zero for my pain. Makes me sweat, dizzy and headache. Called the pharmacist and lucky me, I was the first to get the new brand. Told pharmacist get ready for the complaints lol. Was advised to contact my pain mgmt to see if possible to resubscribe to lower (Mallinckrodt) dose they have in stock. Not gonna hold my breath on that one. Doesn't work at all for me.Read More Read Less

I certainly agree Rhodes is terrible but we need to keep in mind this is Purdue Phamras generic and sister comnpany…They are likely using as least amount of active ingredient as possible to avoid more heat from the world and DEA and probably have been given a lower quota of the active ingredient from the DEA so they are probably just as upset about it as us as they want to make money. I think this is why Rhodes is so terrible as their subutex is the best generic so this tells you something and the story of what’s going on. The best generics are as follows in me experience: 1 1. Zydus- I have never tried this generic but from the feedback from elderly patients and may others who have been lucky enough to come across zydus generic oxycodone or ethex generic are lucky as the feedback and research states beside the brand name 54 199 and 54 710 tablets these are the best generics. I can’t speak to this as i have never even seen them yet tried them but the research shows these especially Zydus makes the best oxycodone comparable of brand name and of ethex, another one I haven’t tried. For the ones i have tried as follows: 1. Mallincrodt 2. Alvogen 3. Aurobindo (all other drugs from them are terrible but great pain meds) 4. Amneal 5. Major 6. Sun 7. And KVK Tech and Camber being the second to worst, which a kvk tech 30mg tablet cost 12 cents wholesale when all other generics cost 56 cents a tablet so what does this tell you as well. 8 Lastly of course Rhodes as I BELIEVE THE DEA is punishing Purdue and giving them the least and last of active ingredients after providing it to the generic companies and keeping a leash on Purdue. They still make the original oc formulation in every country but the United States..what does this also tell us lol. Rhodes buprenorphine is exactly the same as brand name down to the inactive and active ingredients making it the best subutex on r the market for a generic as it’s indentical to brand name subutex. So if Rhodes can do this with their subutex generic i do not understand how they aren’t making the best and most effective pain medication like they do with their MAT medications such as buprenorphine(subutex) which also not everyone takes suboxone and subutex because they have had addiction issues a lot of people start taking it because the drs say its a good one for pain without having to be on heavy opiates then u do it for pain and every one after and dr thinks you been an addict and you have to explain no i chose this for my pain med then have documents to back it up. The medical industry is a wreck right now and the pharmacy industry is running on very thin ice. Medications cost are increasing shortages are crazy there literally is zero oxycodone 15mg tablets at any of the pharmacies in my city called everyone none have them at least for another week and a half that’s crazy how can they leave people a week and a half past their fill because of some fake shortage to make another monopoly or worsen the fetty epidemic on purpose.. its genicide this fetty problem and they rather patients go to the streets. Its insanity. Always get mallincrodt on every pain medication you can unless there is a qualities generic/par or endo one for it otherwise u are getting lower active ingredients. KVK tech is so popular but the fact it cost a pharmacy 12 cents for a 30mg tablet conmpared to all other generics at 56 cents per tablet just goes to show u how cheap and crappy kvk tech. The market placebo effect is wild. It’s even so terrible we have to be here even discussing this. It should be a effective and simple process for us real pain patients and now they rather have us go to the streets like they are going to remove opiates all together its scary and we shouldn’t even have to have this convo. I pray for you all in this life long journey of quality of life and good health and success in life and healing stay up and hope this feedback helps some of you and always remember if you find a good mom and pop pharmacyRead More Read Less

OMG. You don’t know how glad I am to find this website and the reviews. I’m a RN and I’ve suffered with chronic pain since 1998. I have Fibromyalgia, SLE, Raynaud’s and Neuropathy. I totally agree that Rhodes Pharmaceutical is sooooo totally horrible. I would give it a -10 if it was possible. Right this minute I am at work and my neuropathy pain is a full blown 10/10. I told my pain doctor to send my Oxycodone 7.5/325 mg to Kroger which was carrying a different pharmaceutical brand than Encore pharmacy. Once again she sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy and I’m suffering from it. Rhodes has to be watering down the Oxycodone. My pain doctor will not give me the dose of Oxycodone I used to be on and that kept me pain free. He (husband and wife team and most of the time I see her) once told me my liver was going to shut down from all the meds I take. Well if I’m in severe pain all the time what the hell difference does it make; that is no quality of life and I’d rather be dead. I know there are so many people like me that suffer in pain daily. Rhodes Pharmaceutical! They are the worst. I swear there has got to be some truth. Since my pharmacy switched manufacturers, I noticed a HUGE drop in quality and effectiveness. It feels most days like I don't even take anything. It barely touches my pain most days. Previous manufacturers quality was leaps and bounds above Rhodes. I don't know what it is but I stand by what I say. My experience has been horrible since the pharmacy switched to Rhodes! Much lower quality for sure.

Recently picked up my 5mg of Oxycodone. Rhodes being the manufacturer . I am miserable as my pain is so bad . The med is not working! I don't know what can be done. This is just wrong ! I will talk to my doctor. As a pain patient I am infuriated that a drug company would cause us to suffer more than we already do!

I found a great manufacturer about 6 months ago...Amneal they worked I was happy that I said finally..next week they pulled them and of course the FDA had them change the ingredients because it was real poopy..they told me they were not on backorder they had to take out the REAL ingredient...all the manufacturers are synthetic no more semi synthetic..they are killing us..and they don't care!!!! Oh and kvk-tech changed again last month I take 20mg it felt like a 5 mg tab..and its going to get worse..I feel so sorry for patients that have cancer..people are killing themselves..it makes me sick!!!Read More Read Less

I have been prescribed opiates for over 20 years & I have been on palliative care for the last 7 years, I have been on every brand of the oxycodone 30mlg they make in the last 7 years, & 3 month of that year I could only get the Rhodes brand because that’s the brand the pharmacy’s carry, I even had my son drive 2 1/2 hours away just to get a different brand then it was night & day from this brand I talked to my doctor, nurses & pharmacist & at first they acted like I was just being difficult but finally the nurse & my amazing doctor understood & I had to pay a lot every month to get a different brand but I was able to just save every month to get them, I am also on a very strong long acting Morphine ER ( a 60mlg & a 100mlg) my insurance because of my health being worse they pay for them, but of course they refuse to cover my Oxycodone 30mlg, so this since all the pharmacies are having horrible time getting pain medication I have been going through true hell, ( sorry) but it’s true last week I had to wait 4 extra days longer just to pray the pharmacy received their Oxycodone in, so when I go to get it guess what I could only get RHODES brand they told me it’s either Rhodes brand or nothing & they said they can’t even I wanted to cry & we checked every pharmacy in my area no one will help me because of the amount I am on & mlg I am on so not only is the pharmacy forcing me to take this brand but the government is because of this silly new drug shortage, so for the last week I have been taking them & yes I can take up to 2 every 3-4 hours & I have been trying every 3 hours to take 2 but guess what I feel like I have been taking Tylenol i have been so miserable & it’s so wrong!! The pharmacy is treating me like i am a drug seeker just because this brand is absolutely the worse ever! I wish the pharmacist had to be forced to take them & then tell me they are as good as any of the other brands cause that would be a lie, I belong to a FB pain group most of us either are older or cancer patients, I have bone & lung cancer I shouldn’t have to forced to spend $350 for medication that I can’t get any relieve from! Look at how many bad but true reviews this manufacturer have when or what will it take for the big pharmaceutical or government or someone do something about RHODES, I will do anything I can to help them stop making & forcing us to take this horrible & expensive product!! If u want my 1-10 scale of 1 bad 10 good this is 10 plus BAD product!! If I can write or protest or anything to get this brand of the shelves plz let me know!! Read More Read Less

I have a disease called CRPS they call it the suicide disease. I suffer from escrutiating pain 24 hours a day seven days a week. The only hope I have is taking medication in order to function simple life tasks. This medication has turned my life upside down. This medication does not relieve my pain at all. I don’t know what they put into it. It’s like just taking Tylenol. This company needs to be reviewed by the FDA because I believe that they are not putting any kind of pain medication in the pills. It is not fair to us that are ill and need pain relief just to be able to get out of bed, I’ve been in bed for two years already and I am in and I am unable to get relief. The only time I get out of bed is to go to the doctors and that is a mission in itself. I don’t understand how this Rhodes pharmaceutical can profit from patients without feeling remorse or compassion for its consumers. This goes to show that money is above honesty, integrity and compassion. If I can and if I could, I would sue this company for pain and suffering because that is all that happens to me I suffer every day and I believe others are also suffering so a message to you Rodes Pharmacy whatever you’re doing stop and undo it get it right and step up to the plate. Finding the correct brand with oxycodone that isn’t garbage has been a challenge. Oxycodone 10mg ir manufactured by Mallinckrodt it awful. They are pink and have a large crack down the center. I avoid them like the plague because they are mainly filler. I get no relief. This month I had no choice because of the shortage of medication and I’m so stressed and angry that these would be allowed on the market. Please avoid this brand if you can.

I've been on & off oxycodone for over 25+ yrs, I am prescribed the 10mg Oxycodone IR. The oxycodone I have been prescribed are typically pink in color, stamped with a K56 on them and are from KVK Tech manufacturer. As of May 2023, August 2023 and September 2023, I received completely different looking pills. They are from Rhodes manufacturer. The pills are white in color, they're stamped with RP 10 and are noticeably larger than the pink smaller ones I would usually get by KVK Tech. These pills are ineffective. They DO NOT help my pain and infact I've experienced minor withdrawals after taking them after taking the KVK Tech brand. This is absolutely unacceptable. I asked CVS if anyone else is complaining about them but I was told "not really" I don't know what that's supposed to mean however after reading some of nthese reviews, I at least know it's not just me. Rhodes manufacturer turned off their Google reviews too, Makes me wonder why they'd do that UNLESS they're trying to hide something!? The pills WILL give you a headache, cause dizziness, make you perspire, and cause drowsiness, BUT they WON'T help your pain! IF they do help your pain you won't get the 4-6 hrs of relief like I'd normally get from the KVK Tech you'll be lucky to get 1 or 2 hours of relief. These pills are trash and they need to be analyzed and pulled from the market asap. Where is the oversite? This needs to be rectified immediately! Pain patients are suffering enough with all the bias, and stigma that is out there. Now we are being fed garbage pills that don't work, that is disgusting!Read More Read Less

I have 9 bulging disc and 3 herniated disc and osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia degenerative disc disease and have had 2 fusions. I also have severe migraines and I have tried many different brands of oxycodone and the Rhodes brand is so bad and the Dea and FDA need to look into all these complaints and do something about this terrible brand of this medication. It’s like taking Tylenol. If I have to be held accountable some should this brand. We chronic pain patients suffer and are under scrutiny and treated like addicts and this company gets away with not putting enough medication in the medicine we are buying. Stay far away from the Rhodes brand. Call different pharmacy and find a brand you like because if you take this brand it will he like taking Tylenol. Shame on you Rhodes do better. It’s our lives you are playing with.Read More Read Less

I'm here to complain about the Rhodes Pharma oxycodone/acetaminophen 10/325mg. It's terrible. I usually take Mallinckrodt which really helps with back pain and nerve pain (disc replacement L5/S1 - nerve root damage at that level). Pain in lower back going down right leg into foot. I cannot function on this medication. I called my pharmacy and because of all the bureaucracy surrounding opiate use, people like me are left to suffer because the superior product is not available and has been on back order for months. I have been subscribed 5 mg's of Oxycodone hcl by my local hospital this as I had my gallbladder removed a few days ago. I have never had any surgical procedure done so the pain is excruciating and unctrollable. Tylenol does nothing for my pain. A low dose of Rhodes Pharma Oxycodone hcl is all I need daily to be able to function. This opiate is a literal life saver for me.
