Do NOT take this poison! It is a high-grade amphetamine. Don't let any doctor lie to you about it. I took it 5 years and have been off it 3 years, taken off this poison by a nonAmerican doctor who doesn't buy into the "give-a-pill" theory of medicine. Wellbutrin has changed my brain permanently. I would give anything not to have taken this poison. I'm very sure my Medicare paid for the mags on my first doctor's Porsche. Eat right and exercise. Do not surrender to the "medicines" Rx companies give you. They don't care what it does to your brain. They only care about their profits. PLEASE, PLEASE take this seriously. Or you will be awakening every morning irrationally filled with hate and anger when you never were before. That's where I'm at now. I don't know when it will end. If ever. My brain chemistry is permanently altered.

I just started this drug and after two days I have noticed a burning on my face and a weird feeling in my neck. take 150 in the morning. No problem with other side effects but will stop this drug because it feels like an allergy to it. Have been taking cymbalta but it is expensive, this is cheaper, but not worth the change. Will call dr tomorrow, don't like the generic for welbutrin, so I guess it ... Show Full Comment

I just started this drug and after two days I have noticed a burning on my face and a weird feeling in my neck. take 150 in the morning. Using 300mg XL (150mg not enough). Before I could not concentrate and tired resulting in extreme frustration and moderate depression. This drug was like having slow drip of coffee throughout the day. Helped a lot and am definately alert after taking it. Basically had no side effects. After three years I have noticed it not having same affect as before. Plan is to get off of it completely and ... Plan is to get off of it completely and then retry it. I have been on lower dose 150mg and have been very sleepy. After 2 months tiredness is getting better. I expect I will be able to get off of it completely in a year; but also expect to need to go on it again. I wanted to make sure it wasn't addicting (it doesn't seem to be) and allow my body to reset. I highly recommend it and I was VERY skeptical when I first started taking it.

Ben taking for two months. Side evects are not serious but very miserable. a sore thoat all day, bad hadache, constipation, repetive spelling of words in my mind as well as continuous counting. Plus stomach pain all day. Have tried very hard to take the medications because I wanted it to work. I don't thank I can continue taking it because of the miserable effects.
