This medication is for intense pain for Flares of bone pain, arthritis and fibromyalgia in my case. When Tylenol, Hydrocodone and Percosett does not help, this is the last medication I use very, very sparingly. It is strong , but the benefits of pain relief allow me to be somewhat functional. You will have a restfull sleep . It remains in my system for 2 days. I have not become sick from it. 1ml every 8 hours when needed.

Several breaks in my right leg, ankle, foot due to accident. I have RSD nerve damage along with the deep throbbing pain and bone on bone pain. Also have trigeminal neuralgia and severe pain and headaches due to systemic lupus. I was taking several different pain etc meds and was able to drop them all and just take the Morphine Im injectable. Amazing how 1 thing can take the place of 8 and do a much better job.

The 18 months before receiving morphine, would be comparible to being an abusded test animal in a shelter. The testing would consist having a cervical spinal injury with no pain killers. Ha. Ha. lets see how much he can take. Oh and guess what I'am not seeking meds!! I have a real injury they still havn't figured out completely. I can only thank god the pain is for the most part manigable. Two thumbs up for morphine and the doctor that perscribed it. PS. My best advise came from a person in records not the medical field and she said REMEMBER DOCTORS ONLY GET A LIC. TO PRACTICE IT'S NOT AN EXACT SCIENCE.Read More Read Less

i have been taking one morphine 100 at night and one morphine 60 in the morning. i have oxycodone for breakthrough pain, which helps. i am not happy at all with the morphine treatment and i dont seem to even notice a difference from taking it and it brings little to no relief :-(

My pain comes from a recent hip replacement and I still need the other hip done. The morphine only takes the edge off the pain. I was taking Norco, it took all the pain away and I was able to carry-on my daily routine.

Works OK, but like others have said it doesn't work as well as Oxycontin does, I was on Oxy for years but lost my private insurance so my Medicare started paying for my meds & unfortunately they don't pay for Oxycontin so I have to take MS Contin now.
