I have been on Viibryd for 3 years now. I've tried every other anti-depressant and non of them worked as well as Viibryd. I had many side effects with the others. Viibryd does not give me any side effects. No weight gain! When I first started taking Viibryd I had some stomach problems, but it passed within a couple of weeks. I suggest to anyone to try Viibryd.

I started taking Viibryd for my depression about 3 months ago. I took it at night at first to avoid nausea, then switched to AM. My biggest issue was the horrible vivid nightmares which have resolved since taking it in the AM. Diarrhea has been off and on still at 3 months. Currently, I'm taking 20mg in the AM and 10mg at night. No more nightmares, helps me get up in the AM to take a small dos ... Show Full Comment

I took this from several months. It seemed to work at first but then then the depression got so much worse, I could not do anything or talk to people without crying. Then I had a bad episode of paranoia! Very strange. Needless to say I called the Dr the next day to get off of this. Def not a good med for me.

Comment:
At first I needed to take a probiotic or eat yogurt with probiotics to help with the nausea side effect but after the first month, no side effects were noticed. Mood is generally better and a slight decrease in anxiety as well.
