latch stops working after several uses. I returned the first one and now the second one is doing the same. would be better to have a dispenser to put in only a couple of drops instead of wasting a whole vile for 2 or 3 puffs.

Medication works instantly. But I get heart palpitations and shakiness briefly after use.

Considered to be a replacement for Primatene Mist: It is & it isn't. It's a rescue inhaler & has worked very well for me. Pleasanter to use (a light mist), more adaptable (can vary the dosage) than Primatene. But the inhaler unit is high-maintenance (daily soaking, misting & cleaning required), more wasteful & doesn't travel well. My original medication cup was replaced with a new one with a better lid & latch, a big improvement. But you can't put this in your pocket or bag to go with you without carrying numerous vials of medication, just in case. There's no way to confine the medication in its reservoir, an issue that badly needs attention. Unit must remain upright & completely still -- impossible for travel. No prescription required for the medication or the inhaler unit, a big plus. Uses two "AA" batteries (included). Read More Read Less

I had a problem keeping the medicine cup cap's closed. I called Nephron's customer service and they sent me 2 new ones that stayed closed. After a couple of weeks the medication wasn't coming out of the cups so I called Nephron again and they sent me 2 more new medicine cups. Those work fine for me now. It is important to clean the medicine cups each night after being used.
