My daughter was prescribed advair after her pulmicort stopped working. She was at a normal healthy weight at 8 years old, but now at 9 this medication has caused her to be extremly over weight in just a year. She gets constant headaches is moody irritable and has no energy. The medication did help her wheezing and coughing but now I am worried about how the weight gain is going to effect her physi ... I love this medication; I have never been as pleased with a medication in my life. I credit it for saving my life. I could only get enough oxygen to barely walk, and after my second stay in the hospital they diagnosed me with asthma. Previously, they had only given me breathing treatments with a nebulizer. Comment:
My side effects are hoarse voice and my eye doctor says I have small cataracts in both eyes. Also, I think it has effected my teeth but I'm afraid to go to the dentist because of this....
