I had bronchitis that kept me coughing for so long, I couldn't sleep at night and my lungs were in such spasm, nothing worked. Finally, I was given the combo of this syrup with an inhaler of albuterol, and I could breath and sleep again freely. It is the only thing that relaxed me AND my lungs/chest.

I've had a number of doctors prescribe this for me and it has never stopped my coughing (except for about 15 minutes). It drugs me so much that I can't function, so I can't take it during the daytime...It isn't even good as far as knocking me out, because I still wake up coughing very hard, every 30 minutes or so. The doctor just prescribed it for me 2 days ago and am now waiting to call him fir...

i went to the hospital because i didnt stop coughing , they gave me this but i have only tooken it 2 times . i dont see too much change .

I recently moved and my new doctor prescribed this drug for bronchitis..I'm not satisfied at all with the effectiveness. My previous prescribed Tussionex and it worked wonders, I could sleep all night without coughing. I only used it at night because of the Narcotic.

I had strep and got antibiotics which didn't work for me. It came back with the worst cough I've ever had. My abs hurt and I threw my back and hips out coughing. My doctor gave me this medicine and my does it work! The only side effects I've had are cold night sweats and dry mouth.

The cough syrup was effective at suppressing the cough and allowing me to sleep, however, I had an allergic reaction by breaking out with hives on my upper torso and abdomin. Very itchy and still present several days after stopping the medication.

I had an awful cough. It was so bad that it made my abdominal muscles hurt and I could not sleep. After two doses I was hardly coughing, no pain, and I slept like a baby. It would be nice if the medication came with a measuring devise.
