Have used this medication for approximately 10 years for lichen sclerosus of the vaginal area. Used to be 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Now 3 or 4 applications a week, using Mon, Wed, & Fri,using cotton underwear, being very careful to avoid tight clothing in that area and wearing nightgowns to provide air to the area.

I have used this for 4 months for hair loss and I believe my problem is getting worse after using it.

I finally went to my doctor and this was prescribed to me. I have used it for two weeks and I couldn't be happier. The itching has stopped, the flaking skin has stopped. The skin is smoother. This patch is still darker than the rest of my skin and I hope is will also correct this with continued use. It is very expensive retail price about $285, with my insurance I had to pay $109 out of pocket.

I have been using this off and on since 2010. It is great for the eczema I get on the back of my neck. When I apply at night and rash is almost gone in the morning. Relieves itching great! I have never had any problems with skin discoloration at all.

I've been using clobetasol propionate ointment for about 6 months for eczema around the foot area. Since using this ointment my feet has changed color to a darker pigment than the rest of my body. I look like I have vitiligo. I spoke to my dermatologist and she didn't feel as though it was a concern. Has anyone of color ever experience this ointment changing their skin color

Used for Shingles. Immediate itch relief. It's like putting an ice cube on a burn. Feels so good.

Had a poison oak rash on my ankle that turned kind of severe. used clobetasol and all the itching/blisters/inflammation disappeared pretty fast. Would definitely recommend for poison oak rash.

Has not cured the problem, but provides relief of symptoms within a day. Symptoms return a few days after discontinuing application. No noticeable side effects.

Horrible. May appear to help symptoms until it makes them worse! Rash spread on my 4 year old and she has had severe withdrawal symptoms coming off of it- redness, inflammation, chills, insomnia, very thin skin, hair and eyebrow loss, ect. Do not recommend to anyone, especially children!

After 25 years of numerous Rx, 1 1/2 tubes of Clobetasol ointment ended the sporadic contact dermatitis flareups on my hands. I've been itch free for almost 10 years.

I have/had on both ears. the worse my MD dermatologist said she had ever seen in 30 years of practice. anyway, it was bad, but now with clobetasol propionate cream usp 0.05%, it is very manageable. if you stuffer, please try this medication. it works miracles for me and I hope it will for you, too.

My doctor prescribed 4 tubes (120 oz.), and I used it all. It knocked out the dermatitis eczema, and now I have only occasional drys skin (like before, but who doesn't), It cured the problem so well I have not been back to see him since (but now I have a doctor round here I trust the next time I need one!) It was effective and rather easy to use, but if yo u need it you best have good bankroll. $190 per tube, or $70 with a saving card as the right place. It was $400 for me, and I am a substitute teacher-- that is over a month's pay on a really good month!Read More Read Less

Have been on clobetasol propionate cream 0.05% for over 3 weeks for a rash on my neck under my ear. The Dr. said rosachia (excuse the spelling please)and to date i still have the same rash. Not only this problem but one drug store in a market wanted $170.00 for this then i was told to go to Walmart and or the same it was $11.50.. i am soooo glad i did not pay the first price for something i most likely did not need as i have something else...

Used for treatment of nummular dermatitis. The ointment is very effective in treating the rash however over time the side effects were thinning of skin, appearance of stretch marks and increase in blemishes near the treatment site. I have aince discontinued use, and found that tea tree oil (Via Ultra Care) is the only natural product that cures the rash. I had tried every OTC and natural remedy suggested and while some helped slow the rash, only the tea tree oil actually eliminated it.

I get severe eczema every few years due mainly to hot and humid weather (I live in Florida) and the only thing that helps clear it is prednisone or an injectable steroid like Depo-Medrol. This cream only mildly eases the itchiness but really does nothing else. If I use only the cream for an eczema breakout without the steroids, it's useless.

After suffering a few months with eczema that spread all across my chest, face and behind the leg I finally saw the Dr who prescribed this (although I think he said not for the face). Within a few hours I noticed I wasn't itchy, the rash cleared in all places within 24hrs. Extremely happy with this!

My skin is very sensitive when it comes to body wash, perfumes, lotions, detergents and soap. Only certain spots on my body have negative reactions. The tiny bumps would grow in numbers and stretch; sometimes it was dry, sometimes it excreted. Doctor took less than five minutes to check me out and prescribed a clobetasol ointment. The hives were gone two days later. I experienced no negative side effects.
