This medicine has been a life saver for me. I take 25mg at night and it helps me sleep all night. I have to take it early - around 7:00pm in order to be sleep by 9:00pm and this way I'm not drowsy the next day. I'm calm, never in a hurry anymore, don't get frustrated, and enjoy life so much more. Thanks to my doctor for helping me find the right drug.

Vistaril is also Hydroxyzine Pamoate (Benadryl)
It will make you drowsy.

I have been taking this drug for 1 year. It has helped me a lot. I was having 3 to 6 panic attacks a day before starting visterel, i am now having no panic attacks. I do not have any side effects from it. I went off it for a brief period and the panic attacks came back.
