My doctor prescribed Oxaprozin for my pain associated with sacro iliac (hip) joint inflammation. It has helped quite a bit. I've noticed that if I miss taking a dose for a day or two, my symptoms come back quickly. But while I'm on it, it's barely noticable. No negative side effects noticed so far.

Im not sure what is wrong with me yet but my doc says maybe fibromyalgia and some kind of arthrits. I would have horrible pain in my hands and wrists. Sometimes my feet, ankles, and knees. I have tried alot of medications including narcotics and nothing worked until i tried this. My pain got better after about 5 hours. Im on my 3rd day and i have a little bit of pain here and there but nothing like it was. I think its worth a shot if you have severe pain like I had.

This medication caused tenderness in my breasts and after I stopped taking it, the tenderness subsided. I think that was a rare occurence, however I will not take it ever again. It did however help the osteoarthritis for what it was prescribed for but the side effect made it not worth my while.

My doctor prescribed it for me when I developed gout. I took it at night because of the side effects and I stated noticing an improvement within a few hours. I didn't suffer from any side effects and the next day, I felt much better, not back to normal, but better.

I just started the medication the night before. I took it at night because the side effects were nausea and sleepiness. I took two tables as prescribed, with my dinner so it wouldn't hurt my stomach. Well, an hour after dinner I felt like I was having bad menstral cramps. I woke up at 3 a.m. in pain and feeling like I was constipated, and I was. I haven't been constipated in over a year. I think I will reduce my dose to 1 tablet and see how that works for me.

I had a really bad reaction to this medicine. Only took it 1 1/2 weeks. It did relieve my symptoms some. I had nausea, dizziness, headache, hand swelling, excessive tiredness, then chest pain with difficulty breathing which lasted 10 1/2 hours. Lucky me.

Astonished at the relief I got for my lower back - scoliosis, stenosis, etc. Nothing else worked at all and had been turned down for surgery. The pain went away after a few weeks! Helps the rheumatoid arthritis in the hands, too, and very quickly.
