Understanding Gestational Diabetes - Symptoms

What Are the Symptoms?

Women with gestational diabetes usually have no symptoms. Most cases of gestational diabetes are diagnosed through blood tests as part of routine screening during pregnancy. Very rarely, specifically if the diabetes is out of control, you may notice:

  • Increased thirst.
  • Greatly increased appetite.
  • Increased urination.
